Hi! We are Aisha & Ptarmigan, delegates for Peru heading to the Montessori Model United Nations Conference in China in October and we need YOUR help.
Did you know that even though we are only 11, we can be involved in world issues and be a voice for people who just can't be heard? How amazing is that!
Through Montessori Model United Nations (MMUN) we are discussing lots of topics such as Rights of different People groups (Indigenous, Disabled & Children), Relief of Refugees and the impact of Terrorism on International security and peace. While these are big topics, it does get us thinking and understanding that we CAN make a difference if we choose to be involved.
In October, we head to Hangzhou, China to particpate in the MMUN conference, which models the United Nations, joining 300 other children from around the world. We will discuss international issues, debate ideas and through collaboration with other delegates, come up with resolutions that might just help someone who needs help.
We'd love your support to help us get there. We are seeking to raise $4000 which will cover our travel & conference costs for the week we will be away.
