WELCOME TO OUR PAGE
HELLO! Our names are Johnny & Julian Cabrera, we are currently residents in Orange County, NY. The reason for this website is to ask you to make a difference and contribute to our story, by sharing, donating to help us have children. Julian and I are a same sex male couple, who have been together for 8 years and married on October 12, 2013 We met online in 2005 and Joaquin moved to New York from California in 2006. After several years together, we decided to take the next step in our relationship and start a family. We are looking to start IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) as an option in reaching our goal of having children.
Julian and I have been blessed to have 3 wonderful women in our lives who are giving a piece of them to help us start our family. We have our best friend Jovani, who will donate her eggs for us. My sister Jackie will carry one of our babies and our sister in law Celeste who will carry our other baby. We will be splitting Jovani's donated eggs and fertilizing half with my sperm and the other half with Joaquin's sperm. This process will be done simultaneously. While embarking on this incredible journey, we found a film crew who have been following and documenting our baby journey. They find our story motivating and unique. Our goal is to document our journey and inspire others who are in similar situations. Joaquin and I started a website www.gofundme.com/journey4babies where you can see a trailer of our story and meet us there.
Our goal is to raise enough money for 1 round of In vitro Ferilitization. Julian and I will be covering all lawyer fees associated with this process, which includes for our donor and gestational carriers. We understand there being more important causes out there like cancer, autism and A.I.D.S but this journey our starting our family is very important to us. We also understand that times are tough for everyone, and are hoping that joining together our dreams can become a reality. Any monetary help towards our IVF process would be appreciated, however small the amount. Your donation will go a long way in helping us have children.
