Emergency Funds

Hey Everyone! So this is one of the more embarrassing things I've ever had to do. Last week, completely out of no where, I passed out and had a seizure here in my apartment in NYC.  I was found unresponsive and nearly died.  I am piecing my life back together now. 
Now, why do I need help? It actually has little to do with the medical costs. Rather, it has to do with having to be off of work. My bosses are being amazing giving the time to recooperate, however I am a waiter and if I'm not there I can't make a paycheck. Bills still need to be paid. I may be out of being able to work approximately two more weeks which equals one month. 

This has been a tough time. I pride myself on being able to handle this kind of thing (as I have many times in the past). But being unable to pay my bills is not something I can take on top of it.
