College student with cancer

My cousin's 24 year old son, Josh, has been diagnosed with alveolar soft part sarcoma, in November 2016. In December he had a 9 hour surgery to remove a cancerous abdominal tumor, with a 60% chance or greater of the cancer returning in other parts of the body. In May 2017 the scan showed spots in his lungs where the cancer has returned.

My cousin has reached out to a doctor in Miami, FL who is studying sarcomas for new drugs that will maintain the growth of the cancer, but not necessarily cure it. Josh has been accepted into the study.  

Josh and his parents now have to worry about expenses of getting to and from Miami, FL from Atlanta, GA area for the tests, drugs, scans and treatments. Currently all they can do is temporarily stay in a friend's house 4 hours away in Tampa and drive to Miami for his treatments.
