Youth Ministry Internship
Hey guys!
As a lot of you may know, I've wanted to go into full time ministry for as long as I can remember- all the way from Kindergarten I've known that this is what God has planned for me. With the help of Moody Bible Institute, I'm almost ready to realize my dream. As part of my degree program, I'm required to spend a summer doing exactly what I want to do with education- dedicate myself to full time Youth Ministry. As part of my syllabus, I'm not allowed to work any job other than my internship, which will allow me to focus all of my time and energy on my students. This will entail spending time in group settings with youth as well as one-on-one meetings focused on deepening the students' knowledge of Scripture and love for Jesus Christ, with emphasis on instilling lifelong value for the Church and for ongoing discipleship. While I'm excited beyond words for the opportunity not to do anything other than my passion, I still have to put gas in my car, and more importantly, pay for the upcoming semester. Journey Bible Church is committed to helping me reach my goal, but I still need help from friends and family if I'm going to have enough to pay for my senior year.
