Joseph's Medical Fund

On November 12, 2017, Joseph suffered an Aortic Dissection. Fortunately, through the quick thinking and action of his dear friend Bradi (Aspengren), Joseph survived! Brandi, who is an RN, rushed Joseph to the Emergency Room where he later underwent a 6 hour emergency heart and lung surgery. He is currently at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, IA, in ICU.
The Aortic Dissection not only did heart damage, but Joseph also suffered multiple 'watershed strokes' to his frontal, parietal, and occipital lobes. The Neurologist says with therapy and time, Joseph should be able to live an independent life.
The therapy and care required for Joseph's recovery will be extensive. Family and friends have created this page to assist Joseph with his bills while he recovers.
Please consider donating as a way to alleviate the pressures that go along with Joseph's lengthy recovery.
Thank you.

Joseph is improving daily and has moved out of ICU!! He remains hospitalized and started Physical Therapy.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone that has contributed, and will contribute to Joseph's fund. The family is overwhelmed with gratitude.
