It's times like this that you help friends during their hardest hits. My Friend Jay Ortiz's father Jose E. Roman's passed away 2 days from a heart attack in his sleep. His father was a very strong man his whole life. He raised his kids to remain strong no matter what obstacles were put in front of them. He was a big man with a big heart, a good and cool father to his kids, and although he didn't get to spend as much time with them they knew he loved them more than anything. Deep down he knew he wasn't doing well and was battling a battle that was soon to weaken him fully and bring him to peace.
This all has happened so sudden that it will be extremely difficult to get everything together and situated to have a proper burial and service by the Ortiz family themselves. He also passed away in another state, which we don't wish to leave him in; so we want to do as much as possible to raise enough money to have him shipped back to New Jersey where he will be close to family. I please ask of my friends, family, and who else would like to help contribute to this cause and donate as much as possible. Remember every little thing counts and would highly be appreciate by Jay Ortiz and his family. We have a goal of reaching $6000 by the morning of May 1st, 2014 to make proper arrangements. Again any contribution big or small will add up to reach this goal and can ultimately become of success and add to my family seeing my dad taken away peacefully and happily.
