Jordans Funeral & Memorial Funds

On Tuesday night/ Wednesday morning,  Jordan Matthews decided to take her own life. She was Beautiful, fun, funny, sarcastic, loving and full of life.. She had a smile that could brighten anyone's day, a laugh that you couldn't help but laugh with, a sense of humor that took most people a while to understand, but when they did, they knew she was clever, she was always stood out in the crowd "blue hair, don't care" kind of attitude, she was the most unique, awesome, amazing, odd at times, coolest person i have ever known.
We don't know why she decided to take her life, if she was depressed, she was the happiest depressed kid I know, if she was bullied, she never talked about it, even when we asked. She wasn't on drugs, she was anti drug. There weren't any cries for help that we could see, nothing has stood out to us. Our minds are boggled as to why she would feel the need to take her life. The signs were not there. We told her we loved her everyday. We told her how beautiful she was. We told her always that she was, by far, the coolest kid we have known. But nothing we did could change how she felt inside..
I never knew I could feel such pain or sadness. My heart is broken into a million pieces. I cant even begin to describe the feeling, nor could i ever put it into words.
Please, please, please, take a minute to call your children, talk to your children, tell them you love them, hug them, squeeze them, kiss thier dirty little faces or adult hairy faces, drill it into thier brains that they are special and loved always

We will be holding a Memorial service for Jordan Matthews on Wednesday August 23rd at 6:pm at the Boyertown Park, We will be releasing Butterflies in her honor, we will also have canvases for everyone to write something to or about Jordan Matthews or even a funny story you may remember that will be displayed beside her on Thursday.. Please come out and watch the Butterflies Fly High in her Honor

We have finally made all the arrangements to lay Our beautiful baby girl to Rest. We will be Celebrating the life of Jordan Matthews, on Thursday, August 24th at Otts Funeral Home 111 North Reading Ave, Boyertown, Pa, 19512 The viewing will start at 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 pm, followed by a short service and many many loving words and funny stories from friends and family.. Immediately after, we are gathering at the Hook and Ladder Fire House, in Boyertown, to share more stories, and fill our bellies. Feel free to bring a dish, the more the merrier
