Jordan & Jessica

If you are reading this, it's because you are lucky enough to be a friend of Jordan and Jessica Smith.  And as their friend, you probably know of their struggles and heartache over the last several years:  the infertility, the miscarriages and the pain.  You have watched their faith and their relationship grow and mature and you have prayed for them over and over again.    You also know what absolutely awesome parents they would be!

The latest obstacle in their taxing, exhausting,  and frustrating experience of fertility treatments came this week when they learned that their insurance will not cover the last phase of the treatment:  frozen embryo transfer.

Most of their journey has been been one only they can walk and those who love them have had to stand by helplessly, wishing there was something we could do.   "Bear one another's burdens," Scripture tells us. "And thus fulfill the law of Christ."  But what can we do?

How about this?  As their friends and family, let's come together to do what we can do.  Let's support them not only with our prayers and encouraging words (though God knows they need those as well!) but with our donations to this fund which will help them continue this journey.  That's how we can bear their burden.

After insurance, Jordan and Jessica will still need at least $4,000.  Please give what you can, share this link with others who know and love them, and pray that soon we would hear the good news - "WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A BABY!"  

And who knows?  They may even give some lucky donor "naming rights".  Or not.
