Woman charged over death of Jordan Seddon
We have recently found out the terrible news that my cousin, Jordan Seddon, had passed away. Jordan was 17 years old and had his full life ahead of him. He was a smart, energetic, caring and popular young man who loved rugby.
He was riding his bike near Cargo Fleet lane, Middlesbrough, in the early hours of Sunday Morning when he was struck by a car, from reports so far it is understood that people quickly came to his aid and called an ambulance. He was left fighting for his life in James Cook Hospital. Unfortunately, he later passed away. The person driving the car was arrested by police as it is believed they were under the influence of alcohol when behind the wheel.
This incident has shocked my family and Jordan's friends. We feel completely saddened and sick to the stomach that he was taken from us at such a young age. It's still not sank in that he has left us and we all wish this was just a horrible nightmare we could all wake up from.
At this moment, we don't want to point fingers or blame anyone, we simply want to grieve and remember the bright young character Jordan was. I have set up a go fund me page to raise money for his funeral.
On behalf of our family, I'd like to thank everyone who helped at the time of the accident and a big thank you to the paramedics and doctors at James Cook University Hospital, who did their upmost for Jordan in his last hours.
We would really appreciate if you could show your support for Jordan and help us in any way possible. We are trying to achieve £1500 so we can arrange a funeral and memorial for Jordan.
Patricia Clark will be in charge of all expenses and arrangements made, along with Jordan's immediate family.
