I am an Over the road Truck Driver who was Stricken with a Brain Mass while on the road which turned out to be an aggressive Cancer called Glioblastoma. It started simple enough, loss of strength on my left side, continuing with a loss of balance, falling in a parking lot one night hitting my head on the pavement with a continuing loss of strength on my left side. I felt the need to seek medical attention. Booked a flight home. Admitted myself to the Emergency Room (ER) to find out after a biopsy, I had a Brain Mass which was affecting the nerve on my left side. After my discharge from the ER fifteen days ago, I have multiple doctor visits scheduled which will give me my treatment options which will include radiation therapy plus additional surgeries if needed to eradicate the tumor. I am at the beginning of this journey and with the help of my family and the good people that donate to my "GoFundMe", I hope too soon be back on the road.
Being an over the road truck driver has given me and my family a good life, however, insurance is out of reach for the self-employed. Multiple doctor visits are expensive and medications are outrageously expensive. I have been unable to work since March and life has been a struggle. But with God, Family, and friends whatever the outcome your help will be greatly appreciated.
All money raised will pay for medication, doctor visits and surgeries.
