On January 23, 2015 our hearts were heavy as heaven gained another incredible angel! While our family is utterly devastated for the loss of John, we know that he is no longer suffering and is in peace. There is nothing more beautiful than knowing he is now with God!
John was loved by so many and that has truly touched our hearts at a time we have needed it most. The outpouring of prayers, love and support has been unwavering during this time. At our darkest times you all have brought such light and happiness to us!
John was an amazing young man and he truly touched many lives in his short time with us. Those who knew him were blessed and we hope you always cherish your memories of him! He was without a doubt one of the most selfless individuals I have ever had the pleasure of knowing! A day will not go by that we do not think of him, love him or yearn for the day that we see his handsome face again.
Since John's passing, many friends and family have asked how they can help the Neri family. We have set up this fund to assist with the cost of John's final expenses, as well as the expenses for the Neri family to travel to Maine and Florida for his life celebrations. John was born in Maine, but grew up in Florida before moving with Dan and Kathy to Louisville.
John also left behind a 10 year old son, Zane, that he loved more than anything. The majority of your heartfelt donations will also be used to create an Education/Scholarship Fund for him. This way Zane will feel John's love and support for years to come!
