John Stein was diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma, the most common type of liver cancer, on February 2016. This type of cancer does not have a high survival rate. Cancer is an emotional and financial hardship.
John is married to Christine Carrio and they have three children – Dillon, Bailey and Marshall. John has been a patient and treated by Mitchell Cancer Institute at USA, Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida and Emory Cancer Center in Atlanta without success.
John has worked for Pilot Catastrophe for the last 14 years as an adjustor. He has been unable to work for the last 1½ years because of his cancer. His friends at Pilot have established this GoFundMe account to help with his medical bills and daily costs during this difficult time.
