Joey wasn't a friend to us - he was family. He was the best type of family you could have. Thoughtful, selfless, funny, loyal. If you needed him he was there in a heartbeat with no questions asked. If you were bored and just wanted someone to talk to - he listened. If you wanted to throw back a drink and watch football - he was game. He was himself, no apologies, and that person was beautiful.
On November 22nd, 2014 he left us unexpectedly. We are raising this fund to provide him with the funeral service that he is so very deserving of. After all that he gave to us and all of the time we were blessed to share, this is all that we know to do.
We ask that you send any pictures, stories, and the very best memories that you can to help provide solace to his loving family and friends who are devastated and beside themselves with grief.
Joey loved fully, lived fully, and will be remembered with his huge smile, distinct laugh, and giving heart.
