Joey Lee Cancer Treatment Fund

Joey Lee (Joseph Lepore) has been an avid musician since he was thirteen years old. He followed in the footsteps of his troubadour father, who was well known on the east coast as Texas Al Mason. Joey Lee won his first talent contest as a musician, at the age of fifteen, and was featured with a live band on the radio the following weekend. When he was eighteen, he won a contest in New York City against thirty other singers, as an Elvis impersonator. He was the only one out of the thirty performers who actually played his own guitar and sang.

Joey Lee has played alongside many of the greats in the music industry; some as they were just getting their start, and some stopping by just to jam with him, long after they had become a household name. In the past 60 years, Joey Lee has formed and been a major part of many bands, from Country, Rockabilly, R&B, 60's Folk Rock, Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Blues, and finally coming full circle and incorporating it all into his own unique way of playing Country. Joey Lee is a well-known, respected musician throughout the Southern California area.

Over the years, Joey Lee has participated in countless fundraising events for fellow musicians, some of whom are no longer with us. I have watched him literally give the coat off his back to homeless people, numerous times. This man has a heart of gold. He has always been there for others, but now it is his turn. Joey was recently diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, for which he will undergo surgery in September. Since he will not be able to play any gigs for an undetermined length of time, we are asking for your assistance. If you are unable to help financially, we would appreciate your prayers during his recovery.

Thank you so much for your love and support during this time. We are trusting that God will provide for us, through His many Angels. Please know that you are all appreciated so much!
