Joel Peterson Memorial Fund

After a lengthy battle with a rare heart virus, Joel Peterson, known to his nieces, nephews, and their children as "Jo-Jo," went "home" to be with his Lord in Heaven. Joel will be missed by his mother, Mary, his siblings, nieces and nephews, and his extended family, whom he loved dearly and committed all of his free time to.  In honor of Joel's memory, his family has established a memorial fund to assist with funeral expenses as well as to make a donation with remaining proceeds in his name to the Adult Congenital Heart Association and Children's Heart Foundation.  It is Joel's family's hope that the Children's Heart Foundation will make strides in curing children and young adults who suffer from congenital heart disease.
