The Joe Shea Music Scholarship

Joe Shea, an avid music connoisseur and owner of a locally renowned house of music and restaurant, O'Shea's Olde Inne (West Dennis, MA), recently passed away on July 28, due to health complications related to congestive heart failure.

Joe carried his love for music from his childhood up until the day he passed away. And it wasn't just the popular music at the time, his music encycledpidia would impress the most experienced musicians and followers of music. The main reason he purchased O'Shea's Olde Inne was because of the musical ambiance of the building and the expansion and opportunity that he envisioned inside that venue. He always said that the sound in that building was nearly impossible to mimic, since it was originally a house, has low ceilings and produced great acoustics. He always said there was something special about that house... and there is.

A contribution to this scholarship would not only benefit the recipients of the scholarship, but would also make Joe a very proud man and would be a great way to carry on his legacy.  We tend to believe he is watching down on us, and he would have a grin from ear to ear if we could make this happen.

Any and all contributions are greatly appreciated, no matter how big or how small.  We request that anyone wishing to make a contribution does so on the go fund me page or through the mail (at the address below).  Thank you for your consideration in this positive action, and we are grateful for whatever we can receive and gift to deserving, selected members of the community.

P.S. - If you feel uncomfortable entering your debit or credit card into this or any website (as I know many do), please make a check out to The Joe Shea Music Scholarship, and mail the check to the following address:
