Help Joe Gaynor update his van

My name is Bob Rollins. I have known Joe Gaynor since we were in grammar school SSJA, in Queens Village, Nyc. Sometimes in life we are confronted with problems. They come in all shapes and sizes. Having a small one now and then is not so much. Having a big one that compounds every small one can be more than a person can handle. My best friend, Joe Gaynor is the type of person that can and has handled a big problem. Handled it for 36 years now. With love and help from family and friends, not to mention his own fortitude, Joe has done so much with the hand he's been dealt. But now a problem, while not insurmountable, is threatening to disrupt Joe's life. You see, Joe has Multiple Sclerosis. First took hold in summer of 1981. Anyone who knows how this disease progresses can sympathize and knows there is no cure. They are working on it, but Joe's plight is right now. He is wheelchair bound, but is able to get around in his neighborhood with his electric wheelchair. The real problem is the van Joe uses to shop, go to Doctor appointments or any of the day to day reasons one has to be mobile. It's an early 2003 Chrysler Town and Country van with a handicap ramp and seating adjustments. It has seen better days. Now the inspection is up as of June 2017 and there are problems that prohibit the passing of the test. So, this is his situation. Joe needs a replacement van. With the understanding of friends and loving human beings like you, we can get him that van. This is the master plan. If we do not reach our goal, sadly, we will try to do what we can to either repair or upgrade his van to something that will service his needs. As I said, Joe has handled problems that I could not fathom on a day to day basis. He is strong in his faith and strong in his heart. Be a friend and help him reach this goal.
