A Little Help for Jodeen

Thanks so much for stopping by Jodeen Revere's GoFundMe page. This is a no-pressure, strictly-volunteer way to help Jodeen in a direct financial way.
Jodeen was diagnosed with breast cancer about a year ago. She caught it early and had a lumpectomy. Fast forward a year and the cancer reappeared, only bigger this time. She had a mastectomy on August 23, 2012.
If you know Jodeen, then you know she's not the frivolous sort. She's a single mom of one fantastic 15 year old girl. Jodeen is self-employed as a yoga instructor and Thai yoga masseuse, but paid for health insurance and put money away regularly into a savings account.
After her surgery last year, she was shocked to learn that her health insurance would not cover her hospital bills. Seriously. Not one cent. You've heard healthcare in this country is a mess, well here's an actual example.
Her healthcare providers supplied some generous financial support, but even so, last year's surgery was a pretty big blow to the bank account. Now that Jodeen is facing another round of bills, it's kind of scary. On top of that, she'll be starting chemotherapy as soon as she's back up to snuff.
This fund is intended to help alleviate a bit of stress for our friend. As a self-employed person, no works means no pay. We asked Jodeen what her rough monthly expenses are for rent, utilities, food, medicine, supplements, health insurance (seriously!) etc. and it came to $2,300. Our thought is that if we can get $4,600 or about two months expenses "chipped in," it will buy her some time to heal up before getting back to work.
If you could spread this around to any like-minded folks, that would be fantastic. Keep in mind that even a few dollars will help, so if you're so inclined, please donate what you can.
