Joclyn’s Journey - HELP NEEDED

Joclyn Jones is a wife, and proud mom of three beautiful children: a college student, 6th grader, & 3rd grader. If you know Joclyn, you would say she is one of the strongest, resilient, funniest, and compassionate people you'll ever meet. On Monday, February 12th Joclyn was hit with devastating news... she was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. The daughter of a two time breast cancer survivor, she knew the severity of the situation and her doctor started her on an aggressive chemotherapy regimen right away. The chemo impacted her body, but it didn't weaken her spirit as she was surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones who supported her with getting around and caring for her children.
After 8 rounds of chemotherapy treatments, Joclyn 'rang the bell' and had her final treatment on July 5th. However the unexpected diagnosis, multiple doctor appointments, chemotherapy treatments, and sick days completed depleted her vacation time at work and her job does not offer short term disability. Joclyn has surgery scheduled for July 31st, but currently does not have enough leave to cover the three weeks off for the surgery and recovery. As a result, she will have to take this time off of work unpaid. This is a major hardship since her family depends on her income.
I'm a strong believer that God places us on this Earth, not so that we can prosper for ourselves - but so that we can be a light and impact others lives while here on Earth. A little effort...a little impact. But together, we can make a LARGE impact on this family's life.
