Sometimes life throws a curveball that you didn’t see coming. Hilary’s husband Nick, was shot during an attempted vehicle robbery on Saturday night, 02/18/18.

Nick is home and has a recovery period which will require Hilary’s care and support. He was also due to start a job in set construction for a television production next week. The shooting has made that work unfeasible, and this has eliminated a source of income. Making a choice between must have medical needs and auto insurance, lights, or communication is no place to be.
In the spirit of love and support for our friend, co-worker, and Girl Scout sister, Hilary Jirasek, we have set up this Go Fund Me account to help her family transition and survive this traumatic time. Collectively, our cash donations can create a safety net. $1000 should buffer them for a month. $2000 widens the safety net even further.
For those who prefer to support in a more personal manner in lieu of cash donations, we have also set up an Amazon registry of non-perishable items that speak to caring for the needs of a child and household maintenance.
