Jim Roe - Road to Recovery

Donation protected
Hello family & friends,
On the afternoon of Saturday 7/19, Jim fell a significant distance from an extension ladder, hitting the back of his head which resulted in a skull fracture, bleeding between the skull and brain and then causing the frontal lobe to rebound off the front of the skull. This injury has caused him pain and short term memory loss. After a stay in ICU and 8 days at Everett Providence Hospital, Jim will undergo 3 weeks of rehabilitation at the Everett Providence campus on Pacific Ave, starting Monday 7/28. This intensive program will include physical therapy to regain his strength and a steady walk along with occupational and speech therapies to regain his cognitive thinking and recall. The goal in these 3 weeks is to have him well on his way back to the independent life he loves! Jim's release for driving and return to work will be forthcoming once he's home. Medical insurance is covering his stay, but 4+ weeks out of work will take a toll on our family. We appreciate your prayers as we wait for Jim to heal.

Thank you!
