Jillian's Philippines Service Trip

When I was 10, I had visited the Philippines and had witnessed first-hand the struggles and hardships Filipino families and children endured. Since then, I have made a promise to commit myself to do something to make a difference.
This year, as my last year of high school, I decided to make a difference not only in my own community but in the global community. I had learned that 44% of the Philippines lived under $2 a day. 44% of the Philippines' population is nearly 40 million people. In perspective, that's the same as every single person in Canada, living under $2 a day.
Upon learning these facts and witnessing this for my own, I signed up for the Philippines service trip with my school board, knowing very well that this would be a challenge to pursue, but one I was more than willing to take head-on.
I've created this GoFundMe so as to raise money for this initiative. Please support me in giving the gift of charity to those in need this Christmas.
