Help Me Get AlternativeCancerTreatment!

I was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer on March 27, 2014. I had a lumpectomy and node dissection on April 18th, 2014. The tumor was fairly large and 4 lymph nodes were involved. I have been seen by three oncologists all who had identical treatment paths; chemotherapy for five months, radiation for 33 days, and Hormone therapy for 10 years. I began doing a lot of research after one of the oncologists said, " I'm going to give you chemo but I have no way of telling if it works (because the tumor is already removed) I don't know if one treatment is as effective as 10 we just give it to you and hope it works." I was shocked! No way was I going to ruin my body and just hope that it worked!

So I'm seeing an alternative doctor in Long Island at Linchitz Wellness Center. The doctor is actually an immunologist not an oncologist. We talked for about two hours and agreed on almost everything. He also was the first doctor to tell me that the pathology report from my tumor showed necrosis which means that my immune system was already doing its job and killing the cancer before they removed it! Amazing considering the 3 oncologists that I seen didn't bother to tell me this. He also read the surgeons report and the surgeon got all of the tumor out. Therefor, yes there could be a stray cancer cell floating around in my body but chances are my immune system will do its job and fight it off. So rather than get 5 months of chemotherapy and destroy my body, my life, and my spirit, and do something that I am completely against I found other options. This doctor will administer strong doses of immune boosting vitamins, minerals,  nutrients. This will help fight off any stray cancer cells and also prevent from any future cancer occurring. I am also on Tamoxifen which is a drug that stops estrogen from being created in my body. My tumor was estrogen and progesterone positive. I have had a ton of blood work done and if any significant amount of cancer markers shows up then I will need Insulin Potentiated Chemotherapy. I feel very strongly about IPT. It uses one tenth the amount of normal chemo and therefor the pharmaceutical companies don't make much money off of it so they don't support it. But it makes sense!
Oh and a quick lesson on cancer: Cancer feeds off SUGAR, DAIRY, and MEAT! So if you can consume very little of those things your body can't harvest cancer! And there are other things like aspartame that can contribute to cancer.

So my new journey is changing my lifestyle! No more sugar, dairy, or meat. I'm trying to eat a raw vegan diet. I have been frequently juicing mostly veggies and very little fruit because of their high sugar content. And I need to get back to running (and not just after my little ones).

Unfortunately because this treatment is not approved yet by the medical community my insurance will not cover it. (Which is completely unfair). So I am hopefully going to plan a benefit to help cover the costs. My initial consultation was $600 and every IPT will be roughly $1200. I know this seems like a huge cost but full dose chemotherapy is roughly $500,000. Of course insurance would have covered that though. So not only are we paying for my treatment but also suffering from Josh's lost time at work. So in the meantime it was suggested to me to start a GoFundMe page.
