Hi, my name is Jessi and here is my story. I have a rare genetic disorder called Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia (MEN) type 1. This disorder causes multiple tumors in the endocrine sytsem that are hormone producing and frequently cancerous. I have had multiple surgeries to remove the tumors but with this disorder they just keep coming back. I just had surgery on the 2nd of July and have multiple more surgeries that are needed. Not only am I lucky enough to have MEN, I also have multiple other medical issues that my doctors are having a hard time figuring out. I have been out of work for the last few months due to tumors in the bones of my feet that are excrutiatingly painful. There is a possibility that at least one of my feet will have to be amputated, but many treatment options are being dicussed. I have applied for disability but the process is long and unfortunatley my medical bills are mounting quickly. I decided to ask for help after going to have much needed testing done to try to figure out more about the tumors that are growing in my pancreas, intestines and a large mass that is in my abdomin today and had to leave without getting them because I could not afford the copay required. All I can do is try :). Please Please Please help me and my family. We thank you.
