Jesse was an incredibly loving, brilliant, and adventurous man. As one of his friends put it, "there isn't a person he came in contact with whose life he didn't touch." The sudden and tragic loss of Jesse on 12/24/17 was a huge blow to everyone who knew him. He left behind his wife and two teenage children, two brothers, his mother and step-father, his grandmother, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and union brothers.
In the wake of this tragedy, Kirstin, his widow, is facing a considerable challenge, as she scrambles to bring her life back into order and normalcy. Financial commitments coupled with the loss of Jesse's income are making her immediate future uncertain.
In addition to settling Jesse's debts and covering his funeral expenses, Kirstin wishes to continue to support his children as they reach adulthood. His son, Alex (17), currently a high school senior in Maine, is studying to be an electrician in his father's footsteps. She wants to make sure Alex receives Jesse's electrical tools, and has plenty of support as he enters the electrical apprenticeship. His daughter, Hailey (15), is a sophomore at Maine School of Science and Mathematics. Kirstin wants to make sure Hailey has every opportunity to follow her academic aspirations in college.
