Our dear family member, Jess Bryden, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer in October, 2017. Jess had a tumor removed from his colon in October, 2017 after finding out about the colon cancer and will be starting chemotherapy in December, 2017. The cancer has spread to his liver and lymph nodes.
Jess is the oldest of the 6 Bryden kids, lives in Hawaii and is free spirited, fun-loving and generous! He has a great sense of humor and is one of the funniest people you can meet! Jess is known to work extremely hard on all of his film projects as he recently was working on his own movie in between numerous small contract jobs. He recently finished up a job in Las Vegas for Rodan and Fields where he was in charge of visual effects and graphics for a huge conference!
Due to the effects of chemotherapy, it is unknown whether he can perform any of his normal day to day routines including his work. Jess is a full-time contractor in the film industry and does not have income to support him and his long-term girlfriend during the chemotherapy process if he is unable to work.
Jess will have to undergo chemotherapy and possibly other surgeries on and off the rest of his life. We are hoping that the chemotherapy can cure the cancer and hope to surround Jess with support during this time. Any funds donated will go towards his medical bills and assisting him and his long-term girlfriend Keri during this most difficult time. We hope to rid Jess and Keri of the stress of financial matters in order that their focus can be on fighting this cancer. Jess is required by Hawaii Medicaid to have his chemotherapy in Hawaii since he was living there at the time of diagnosis.
Donations can be ongoing, but we would like to present Jess with a gift in January or February, 2018 based upon these donations. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and please keep Jess in your thoughts and prayers.
