Jeremy Wasson's Medical Fund

Hi, my name is Cory Wasson. I would like to share a story of my brother Jeremy Wasson who is currently battling cancer.  It all started back in 1998 when my brother Jeremy was only 22 years old and just out of college.  Jeremy was working at the City of Casper Municipal Golf Course when we received a frightening phone call that Jeremy experienced a seizure while at work.  This will be Jeremy’s first of many seizures.  It turns out his seizure was caused by a malignant brain tumor called Anaplastic Oligodendroglioma Grade III.  Jeremy ended up going to the University of Colorado Hospital for surgery where most of the tumor was successfully removed.  After several months of intense radiation and chemotherapy, Jeremy was back to living a somewhat normal life again.  Jeremy started working again at the City of Casper Municipal Golf Course where he continued to work for the next 16 years with the exception of working at the Campbell County Municipal Golf Course for a few years.  So in 2014, 16 years later we received yet another freighting phone call that Jeremy experienced another seizure while at work.  This time his seizure was caused by another malignant brain tumor called Anaplastic Astrocytoma Grade III.  Jeremy went to Mountain View Regional Hospital in Casper Wyoming for surgery where the tumor was once again removed successfully.   Jeremy again went thru intense radiation and chemotherapy but unfortunately only 6 weeks after his 2nd surgery Jeremy experience what is called a status seizure which lasted for more than two hours.  Again, this seizure was caused by yet another tumor called Glioblastoma Grade IV.  This time Jeremy went back to the University of Colorado Hospital for his surgery.  His doctor said they were able to get the entire tumor but not without some side effects.  Jeremy is struggling with is speech and can’t move his right arm or leg. Currently, Jeremy only 38 years old is still at the hospital in Colorado where he is going thru rehab to hopefully regain his movement and speech. We are currently waiting for the extent of treatment that Jeremy will receive to hopefully once and for all beat this horrible disease.  If you are one of the lucky people who happen to know Jeremy, you know he loves his dog Callaway, enjoys golfing, camping at the lake, and loves to draw pictures.  You also know Jeremy would never ask anyone for help with money, this is why I am asking on his behalf.  Jeremy currently has a mortgage payment, utility bills, and hospital bills that he is responsible for but not being able to maintain a job due to his illness it has become very tough paying these bills.  It would be greatly appreciated if you could be generous enough to make a donation to my brother Jeremy Wasson.  If you are unable to make a donation I will completely understand.  Please continue to pray that my brother makes a full recovery. Every little bit helps, God Bless!!!  Cory Wasson
