Help the Guts in their time of loss

Donation protected

Jeremy is a husband and father of three who lost his life due to complications from Guillain Barre Syndrome at the Cleveland Clinic. He started feeling numbness in his hands and feet a few weeks ago and things quickly got worse.

Many generous family and friends have stepped up to help in any way they can, and we are planning a fundraising dinner for January. Please consider helping this wonderful family.

Jeremy D. Gut, 30, of Leavittsburg, OH passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He was born May 19, 1984 in Lorain, OH, the son of Gary D. Gut and Penny (Thompson) Gut. He married Krista Davis on December 21, 2003 and shared 10 years of marriage.

He was a graduate of LaBrae High School, and was employed with Great Lakes Cheese in the receiving department. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Jeremy was a devoted husband and father. He was dedicated to his family and enjoyed volunteering as a little league and soccer coach. Jeremy was an avid sports fan, especially Ohio State, Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians. He was also a blood and organ donor.

Jeremy's memory will be cherished by his wife, Krista M. Gut of Leavittsburg, OH; three sons, David, Jack, and Max Gut all at home; parents, Gary D. and Penny Gut of Braceville, OH; two sisters, Amber Bland of Bazetta Twp., OH and Ashley Gut of Braceville, OH; along with three nieces and two nephews.
