Italian Grand Prix Womens Wrestling

Hello my name is Jennifer Juarez and I’m proud to say that I am a New York City women’s wrestler!! I have dedicated my life to becoming the best athlete on the mat as well as the best person off the mat and I am so proud to say that this past season has culminated in much success because of that. So far I have received a 3rd place finish at the junior nationals in Fargo, North Dakota, a 5th place finish at the Folkstyle National Championships in Oklahoma City, a 1st place finish in the Pan American competition in Recife, Brazil, and a 2nd place finish (qualifying me to represent USA as a new member of the Cadet National team), at the Body Bar Nationals in Dallas, Texas. Wrestling has always provided me with extensive opportunities but recently I have been asked to be a part of something much bigger than I could have ever dreamt of. In August, Team New York will be competing in the Italian Grand Prix: an international tournament held in Palermo, Sicily that will have over 15 countries represented (Germany, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Sweden, Italy, and many more), and I have been honored by being asked to come as a female representative of the sport. This is something that I truly wish to be a part of but due to expenses I cannot get there on my own. I’m asking for as much support as I can receive and of course I most certainly would greatly appreciate it. I know that it may be a hefty thing to ask, but any donation is welcome.
