Jennie's Healing Fund

When a person who’s made it their life’s work to help everyone else who needs help, you step up. You offer what you can. Like them, you be the love you want to see in your world.

Meet  Jennie…she is my sister

Jennie has built her life around helping people. For forty years, she has served on the police crisis unit, intervened with the psychiatric emergency team, guided families as a therapist, and coached those facing chronic illness. Jennie helps people find their way, heal relationships, and become inspired to live fuller lives.

Nearly 5 years ago, Jennie was diagnosed with Endometrial Cancer. For many people, understandably, a cancer diagnosis is traumatizing – a reason to leave work and withdraw from community to focus on treatment. Not Jennie.

Despite the diagnosis, Jennie knew two things for sure:

1.    Her clients still needed her.

2.    Continuing to express her life’s purpose by guiding others to their healing, was the best way for her to stay passionate about her own life.

Many of her clients are not even aware that Jennie has been dealing with Cancer…

…but while she was there for them, she was also taking massive action on her own behalf.

Jennie researched ferociously, focusing her energy on finding the best Naturopathic solutions.

With deep roots in the medical field, she believes in the power of a wholistic approach to medicine, and in resisting the long-term effects that radical and invasive procedures can often have.

Jennie eats only nutritious, healthy food, exercises daily, and at 62, she has a soul filled with the joy of living life to the fullest. While others may be thinking about retirement, Jennie is on a mission to find new ways to reach people – and to help them.

Until now, treatment has been very successful, but recently, we have learned that the cancerous tumour has begun to grow.

Jennie must now seek out new treatment – quickly.

Jennie has known for some time of a promising treatment at the hope4cancer clinic in Mexico. But at a cost of $39,000.00 US ($50,000 CDN) the treatment has felt out of reach – until now.

This well-established and well-reputed facility provides integrative oncological care through a live in program followed by monitored home treatment and follow-up visits. Though it is proven to provide excellent results, the core treatment protocol,  Rigvir Virotherapy, is not available in Canada or the U.S.. [ Rigvir Virotherapy LEARN MORE at hope4cancer.com]

Equally important, for the first time, Jennie is also preparing to take time away from her busy private practice to focus solely on her own recovery.

She will be both out of pocket, and out of revenue for the time it takes to undergo this new phase of treatment.

She needs our help to make this happen.

It’s just not right that Jennie should have to spend every penny she has saved in order to be well, but I think It’s very right, right now, that she receive help to focus 100% on her own healing. That’s why I’ve set up this GoFund me campaign on her behalf.

Jennie has left footprints on the hearts of so many – I want to help her – and I know others do as well.

So - whether you can spare $5, or something more, I thank you.

Every scrap of money raised will go toward Jennie’s care and treatment at the Hope4Cancer institute.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

 Jennie’s sister, Christina.
