Helping Hands for Jenn

As most of you know, my cousin Jenn who is also my closest friend, was diagnosed in January with a very rare gynecologic cancer. After undergoing a major surgery which was successful, her prognosis is positive and she is expected to fully recover. Because this is such a rare cancer, the chemotherapy that she has to receive is one of the strongest forms.  The hardest part is not only watching her go through excruciating chemotherapy treatments, but the effects that she deals with afterwards.  Jenn continues to fight through the treatments and the setbacks that she has endured along the way.  It has been a struggle and she still has quite a long way to go.   Due to the numerous side effects and setbacks Jenn has had to spend days and weeks being away from her children while undergoing several hospital stays in New York City.

I’ve created this GoFundMe page to try to help keep Jenn and her family from struggling with medical and household bills as well as transportation/parking costs to and from the hospital as she continues to fight and recover. Her hard working husband Cesar, has also given up many hours of work/income to be by Jenn’s side and to take care of the kids. Anything you can do to help, big or small, will make all the difference in alleviating some stress.
