Jene' Marie's LA DreamChaser Fund

Donation protected
Jene' has had a passion for dancing since she could walk! She has been on a journey of chasing her dream since she made the decision at the age of 10 years old to leave her hometown of Louisville Kentucky on December 27, 2015.
Prior to her starting her journey here in Atlanta Georgia, she started recreational dancing at Upstage Dance Centre when she was 6 years old. There she trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, and Contemporary.
She then started competing at the age of 8 years old with a Jazz solo which won first place and overall awards. She won the title of Petite Miss Dance of the Bluegrass 2014 with her first solo, then was ranked top 10 in the country at Dance Master of America 2014.
On December 27, 2015 at the age of 10 years old, she convinced her mom to move to Atlanta Georgia to try to pursue a career as a professional dancer and actress. Her mom had to leave her job behind and rely solely on  her savings, family, and friends for support, due to Jene's training and performance schedule.
On her journey she has been blessed to work on numerous projects with different artist, actors and actresses. Some of the projects include working with Ciara, Teyana Taylor, some of the cast of Step Up, Honey, and Star.  With those projects she has used her funds to invest back into her career with getting photos, going to conventions, acting workshops, and cost of filming for audition submission etc.
She has recently been selected as one of the first kid cast of Monsters Dance Convention! This is history in the making to be apart of their very first kid cast. This was unexpected but will be such a great opportunity and learning experience.
This Go Fund has been created for this very reason. She will have to been in LA on July 17,2017- August 4, 2017 for Monsters Dance Convention Show finale and rehearsal for another dance convention. The funds raised will allow her to stay in LA for the time mentioned, which will pay for travel expenses and continued class training while there.
Please help in any way you can to keep her Dream Alive. She wants to show kids all over the world that if you work hard you can accomplish anything.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know her!
