"Hi! My name is Jelani and I am a freshman at Millennium Brooklyn High School. I love reading, playing sports, exploring the outdoors, and expressing my artistic abilities by drawing and painting. I was nominated and accepted into the People to People program which, will allow me to expand my quest for knowledge by having a firsthand experience into learning about the different cultures and visiting the historical landmarks. Because I love art, I am especially excited to see the European Art and its dynamics in-person. I will get to do all of this and obtain college credit at the same time. In an effort to make this possible, I'm enlisting the help of family & friends (friends~of~friends too!) to aid in making this dream possible. Jelani has the opportunity to spend 3-weeks in Europe, venturing from New York to Paris, France in July.
For 19 days, Jelani will have the chance to explore Italy, France, Austria and Switzerland.
