Funeral Expenses for Jean Leonhard

I would like to tell you a story about, Jean Marie Leonhard. Jean was an amazing woman, great mother, wife and one hell of a fighter. Jean battled and beat Breast Cancer three times in the last 10 years, but unfortunately due to not having the proper insurance she was unable to obtain the proper follow up care needed following all of her illnesses. Just four months ago based solely on a blood test her oncologist determined that she was Cancer Free and vowed to perform some follow up tests that the doctors office would never schedule. Three days ago she entered the hospital only to find out that she had Stage 4 Cancer in her Liver, Bones and Lungs. She rapidly became unresponsive and passed away early this morning. We are trying to raise money to help the family take care of her final arrangements. Losing her meant losing half of their family income. It is very likely that they will also need additional income to move into a smaller apartment in the near future. Anything you can do to help this family in their time of need would be greatly appreciated.

I have been a close friend of this family for over 20 years and our children grew up together. I will withdraw the funds at the end of the campaign and give a check directly to Brady's Funeral Home, who is handling all of the arrangements.
