Jeacline\'s Cancer Treatment Fund

Hi, I\'m Cassie, I am raising money for Jeacline\'s cancer treatments in a clinic in Germany.
Jeacline is truly a one-of-a-kind human being. Her nickname \"Angel\" was simply unavoidable. There are people in all four corners of the world, on every continent, of every colour who have been touched by, helped by and inspired by Jeacline\'s kindness, generosity, and wisdom. I myself met her on our travelling through Asia working with orphanages and the prostitution slave trade mission. Even in that circle of extraordinarily kind and compassionate people, Jeacline stood out and set an example for the rest of us. Always the first to stand up, to speak out, working harder, speaking up louder, the first to volunteer, the first to organize action, to take a risk, the last to quit and all that while making us all feel loved, special and invincible.
There is however one thing about Jeacline you should know, if you don\'t already - You Will Be Hugged. Just dare to come close enough for her to grab you and despite her little 156 cm frame, you will get the most loving, nurturing and energizing tight squeeze you\'ve felt in years, if not ever !
I know that back home in the US Jeacline is also very involved with several abused women\'s organizations, she has fostered children, she works with animal rescue organizations, she takes therapy dogs and kitties to children\'s hospitals and retirement homes for stress therapy and companionship, she is a passionate supporter of Amnesty International and the International Women\'s Protection movement, and constantly seems to be making signs for one demonstration or protest or another.
She doesn\'t have children of her own and she always says that she was meant to not have a family so she had time to focus on standing up for and helping those who are lonely, old, weak or forgotten. In addition to loving people and animals, Jeacline can be bribed with chocolate to do almost anything and she loves lounging around all day in her purple pyjamas !
Now it\'s our turn, all of Jeacline\'s mates\' turn, to help Her! Jeacline has been courageously and very matter-of-factly fighting cancer for several years. Never making a big deal about it, always making sure we saw her positive and optimistic and strong, although she must have had many a weak and despairing days. She\'s been through several surgeries and chemo therapy treatments and continues to fight. This \"war on cancer\" has been financially devastating for her because in the US, medical insurance only covers partial medical expenses, she has not been able to work 100% during this time, and to top it off, in her usual generous and loving way - she also supported a parasitic boyfriend who \"needed\" her nurturing and complete financial support for several years.
Unfortunately now the cancer has returned, her finances are drained and consequently her boyfriend has moved on to more lucrative ventures, thank God.
Her doctors in the US, at the hospital she is with, called Kaiser, only have more chemo to offer her, which obviously hasn\'t worked and would just continue to be wasting her precious time.
There are several very effective therapies, used for decades against cancer, but they are not allowed in America because of political and economic reasons. Several of these therapies look really promising for Jeacline\'s cancer condition but her hospital and insurance refuses to cover the cost of these treatments.
Her chances for surviving are excellent with these treatments but she has no funds to pay for them right now, and time is of the essence for her condition. That\'s where we all come in.
We can help her and help ourselves to benefit from her friendship and support for decades to come. The longer she\'s with us on this planet, the more of God\'s creatures will live a little better because she was there to help.

We are also starting a non-profit foundation in her name, The Jeacline Heaven Can Wait Cancer Foundation. We are still waiting for non-profit status approval. Its purpose will be to raise funds for more cancer patients whose oncologists have given up on them and whose insurance refuses to pay for alternative cancer treatments that still offer hope.
Once the non-profit status is approved, any funds collected here over and above what is needed for Jeacline\'s treatments, will be going into the Heaven Can Wait Foundation fund for other cancer fighters needing this kind of hope, this kind of help.
