Jazmine's Spain Trip

 Hi Everyone! This is Jazmine:) My sophomore year of high school, I met my absolute favorite teacher I have had so far throughout all my schooling. She was my Spanish II teacher, Mrs. Hartz. What I admire about her is her enthusiasm, serenity, and the urge she had for her students to simply experience. I walked in her classroom expecting to just learn the rules and guidelines to our second language; however, she has expressed much more than that.
Mrs. Hartz has gone in depth about her seizing the opportunities to study and live abroad in Spain.
The way she talked about these experiences was as if she was genuinely trying to put a visual picture of how beautiful and diverse the Spanish culture itself was.  Without her inspiration, I would not have the drive to adventure so far from home.

So...What I would like, just for ten days, is to experience her words up close and person, and sit in a “real coffee shop” myself, rather than an on-the-go Starbucks (as amazing as Starbucks really is). Going out of North America is my absolute dream at this moment.  Out of ten days, I know now that this will be an amaaaaaziiiing experience. I am most likely going to come back with a completely switched up my mindset, two months before graduation! I will learn stronger responsibilities, and passionately experience from an off perspective that I could possibly only grasp in Europe itself. Better yet, these ten days adventuring the cities of Assisi, Barcelona, Florence, and Rome will definitely be a start of a lifelong addiction (that sounds so cheesy but it’s so true haha). 
So to my wonderful family and friends: I would truly appreciate the help in order to accomplish this dream coming out of high school, into college, and beyond!!
