Tombstone for Rabbi Jay Miller

Do you all remember that one teacher who really touched your life? Maybe they challenged you, maybe they brought you to see what you could accomplish, maybe they broadened your horizons to the possibility of what could be....
Rabbi Jay Miller was one such teacher for me. One of my favorite memories is when - on a takehome Chumash (Bible) final exam I utlized one of the biblical commentators (Rashi) to show why Abraham could not have been where the bible claims he was based on his bailing out of his nephew - Lot. Rabbi Miller gave me an A+ - and his comments were "Excellent analysis. Excellent utilization of the skills we learned during the year. Factually 100% incorrect. You can call me and I will explain where you went wrong."
In any case, I kept in touch with Rabbi Miller through the years, and even visited him on trips back to the U.S. after I moved to Israel. I spoke to him a few days before the operation that he died in and was devastated to learn of his passing. A few years after his death, I learned from another former student of his that he died without any assets and therefore was buried in a plot without any stone. She found that out after she tried to visit his grave and eventually tracked him down. After some friends made contributions and the Frisch school (where he taught me) made a large contribution, there still remains $3,425 owed in order to get a headstone for Rabbi Miller in the cemetary. It is a shame that such a good person and teacher has been buried essentially wih no name - sort of like being buried in the Potter's field of a Jewish cemetary.
It would mean so much to me if you could help me to give Rabbi Miller some final dignity.
