Support for Jay M. D'Angelo

Hello,On behalf of the D'Angelo family, my sister and I are reaching out to family, friends, and the community to support our 14-year-old cousin Jay M. D’Angelo.
His father, Jay (A.) has been bedridden nearly 4 years after multiple spinal cord surgeries. He’s been in and out of rehab facilities, hospitals and surgeries with minimal success to get back on his feet. While his father’s most recent surgery has given some signs of hope for future mobility, now his mother, Dawn just passed away after losing her fight to a rare and rapidly progressive form of cancer.
As you can imagine, the family is being drained physically and emotionally and, they have also been financially devastated. So, we would like to take an opportunity to raise money in our cousin’s name so that he may have financial support now and in the future for school-related endeavors such as educational events, sports-related items, school supplies, for attending college, and any private extra help like counseling and other support he may need.
No matter the amount, money will never replace the love of family but will assist to eliminate the unnecessary financial stress that a young teen should not have to face during and after such challenging times.
We also want Jay to find opportunities to enjoy a healthy lifestyle that includes recreational activities to help cope with such a difficult time in his young life... we just wish this moment didn't end in our Aunt [Jay’s mother] becoming an angel so soon.
