My grandson Jaxon was born March 16, 2017. He has spent 3 months of his life at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, has had scheduled hospital stays and continues frequent visits to Childrens for his Medical treatments.
Jaxons medical issues will be ongoing. Growth and Time will Help heal Baby Jaxon.
He has been through a lot in his life and continues to Stay Strong.
He is currently on Oxygen, has an NG feeding tube
He was born with Club feet, will need ongoing therapies for the next 3-5 years, (hopefully no more surgeries) Contractures of his hands,
Ongoing splinting and therapies for an unknown amount of time, (hopefully no surgery but unkown) Small Jaw, narrow airway made it hard for him to breath, makes it difficult for him oral feed, (currently working on oral feeds but he burns to many calories due to faster respiratory rate. He will get a Gtube in October to help with freeing up airway space in hopes to help the respiratory issues. He has an unknown diagnosis for infant diaharea which he is also being treated for long term. Jaxon recently had a surgery on his eyes due to and eye infection a few weeks ago. They placed a probe in each eye and a stint in the infected eye, hoping this helps his tear ducts. He has pstosis in the left eyelid and they are hoping with patching the right eye on and off he can stretchy lid and avoid another surgery. David continues to work and Christine has had to quit working all but 12 hours a week to stay home to care for Jaxon. We are hoping to help the family out with some of their financial burden and medical costs that will be ongoing. Every donation, thoughts and prayer are all appreciated so much..
