Hurricane Maria left the Lopez family without electricity or running water since September of 2017.
For the Lopez family, electricity is a matter of life or death; Luis and Zaida's son Javier suffers from a severe case of Smith-Lemli-Opitz syndrome and requires a ventalator, as well as other medical equipment, to live. Since September, Luis and Zaida have exhausted their finances paying for the gas that feeds the small generator which powers their modest home in the hills of Barranquitas, Puerto Rico.
The money raised will be used to assist the Lopez family with the medical costs and gas associated with keeping their son Javier alive.
Anything you can contribute will go towards a wonderful family in need.
