Janie Elliott Fund

Janie Elliott is a treasure of a person bringing honest and pure joy to everyone around her. She is dedicated and driven and a genuinely good hearted person. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer on Valentine's Day.. She has flown to Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida seeking treatment. Since she is out there and obviously not working, bills can pile up fast. Funds to travel back home for visits and precious moments with loved ones during treatment will run tight. While in Florida, she has been searching vigorously for further answers and options. She is now in contact with a new treatment center which has better results fighting her condition than the place she's at now and can offer advanced treatment instead of just chemo. This new opportunity is a breakthrough in the fight and Janie is optimistic about the future with this new plan in mind. Insurance covers some of the cost but she needs $45,000 to pay for the additional fees/costs of the treatment. The sooner she can get the funds together, the sooner she can get into real treatment to fight this cancer. This new facility will provide custimized actual care, not just a test trial where she could be subject to being one of the people receiving placebo instead of care. She was very hesitant when I approached her with this idea of starting the campaign but I know there are many of you out there who Janie has influenced personally or simply made smile. I know that there are many out there who love and care about her and want to help. This would be a tremendous help moving forward. Janie is a passionate optimist and deserves to fight this battle with those that love and care about her helping her through. Please find it in your hearts to help someone who has or would help you.
