Help Fund Jamie's Battle with Lymphoma!

Jamie Romero was working in Kentucky, just 45 minutes away from West Virginia. Living away from family she kept herself busy working and taking care of her two dogs which are her babies. Around August she was having trouble breathing and she felt like something was sitting on her chest. Within a month and a half she went to multiple doctors who checked her heart and blood count. Everything always came back normal. They continued saying she had reflux or allergies.

On September 19, 2012. She saw a doctor in Louisa, Kentucky telling him she was hurting in her neck. He proceeded in doing an ultrasound and CT Scan. Dr. Harris was shocked to find a large mass on her chest and it grew into her neck. She was then sent to West Virginia Cabell/Hunington hospital to do a biopsy. The large mass was displacing her trachea to the right and severely constricted the left innominate vein. The biopsy confirmed it was a rare B Cell Lymphoma and growing rapidly. They wanted to do another biopsy but she needed to get back home with her family. Her mom and sister took the next flight to West Virginia to immediately bring her home.

In Lafayette she had a hard time finding a doctor that would see her right away. Finally after two weeks she had an appointment for consul. As soon as the oncologist saw her, he admitted her into the hospital and ordered chemo ASAP to shrink the cancer. There was no time for a PET Scan to see what stage the cancer was in. And there was no time to do another biopsy to see how rare the B Cell Lymphoma was.

A week later, where the piccline was placed, a blood clot formed leaving Jamie back into the hospital. Her depression and anxiety have been a struggle, but she is trying to stay positive and is putting things in God's hands. Jamie will be out of work for 6 months to a year. The doctors are very hopeful and prayers are being answered everyday. Please help us meet the goal and help Jamie with medical bills.  ANY amount will help! Thank you and God Bless you all.
