Rounder Recording Artist James King passed away, Thursday, May 19th, 2016 at 3:10 PM EST. James blessed the bluegrass music world with his gifted voice and many great recordings.
Thanks everyone for helping James! Over the two years that this fund sight was up, we raised $17,207 and dispersed funds as they became available to help James with his medical, living, and final expenses.
We now need, finally, a proper gravestone for James which commemorates his amazing contribution to bluegrass. The "Storyteller" is now simply a story which should be retold forever.
