Jake Beckley Family Benefit Fund

Jake Beckley, 30, of Beckley Harvesting was supposed to return to Randi and the kids after being away for just a few days. I'm certain the goodbye wasn't as special as it would have been had either one of them known it would be their last. Their world, as they knew it, has forever changed.

Jake unexpectedly passed away (from unknown natural causes) before making it back home again. He was the sole income earner; Randi a stay-at-home mom to their four beautiful children. With Jake’s passing, there will be many concerns about what’s next and how this family will keep moving forward.

The custom harvesting industry is a family. When one family member is hurting, especially when it involves death, it hurts all of us. Unfortunately, there are many miles between the members of this family. This fund has been set up for those of you who want to love and support Randi but aren't sure how or what to do.

On January 26, Randi posted a sweet picture of Jack's three month picture on her facebook page. The very next day, she posted these shocking words:

Dear friends, Jake died. 
Here’s what I need: 
-prayers
-fond memories 
-childcare availability 
-taking kids to and from school 
-understanding that I won’t want to get out and do much
-company at home every once in a while 
-photographs
-help with cleaning and laundry, etc
-small meals (but I currently can’t have dairy, tomatoes, eggs, or chocolate.)
-If someone is really desperate to help, I would love a photo album of all the Facebook pictures of Jake with me and with the kids. I’m willing to pay.

Here’s what I don’t need
-advice
-cliches
-telling me the good things about what’s happened, like saying he’s in a better place, he’s happy now, etc. I don’t want to hear it right now, sorry. 
-crowds of people 
-people avoiding me in gatherings 
-I don’t need you to be scared of talking to me, or worrying about what to say. I don’t need you to say anything, just be here. 

Randi posted this today (1/28) and I felt it was one that needed to be shared...
"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever.
The Lord givith and the Lord taketh away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
And lo, I am with you always, even until the ends of the earth."

Please consider helping this young family have something to fall back on. ANYTHING will help. If you can’t provide monetary assistance, will you please keep the family in your prayers?
