Jaimi's Fight for Life

Jaimi, youngest Sister to myself, Lindsey and Chris, aged 21 was rushed into Emergency Department in Townsville in the early hours of Sunday 1st September 2019 with abdominal pain.
Septic Shock had set in and her organs were failing and the first of many surgeries were carried out on her already fragile body. Jaimi's fight for her life began.
1st September saw Jaimi placed on life support, in an induced coma and on dialysis as her organs continued to shut down and her heart rate remained high and her blood pressure low. There was very little progress over the next week as family learnt just how critical Jaimi is and what support she was receiving in ICU.
Today, 10th September collectively as a family we decided that after some bad news that it was time to ask for help. Jaimi will be transferred from Townsville ICU to Brisbane Prince Charles Hospital ICU where her heart failure will continue to be monitored and with hope be placed on the organ recipient transplant list.
We need your help to allow family to be by Jaimi's side during this time as she remains in a critical condition. Funds raised will go towards accommodation assistance and assist in Jaimi's recovery. $7500 is not a lot but we need to start somewhere.
