Stand in Support of “Jaime” - Kidney Failure Battle

Dear Family, Friends, and Supporters;

Many of you know my son Jamie or “Taz” as we affectionately call him by his big genuine smile and commitment to family.  However, what you may not know is that for the past few months he has undergone several surgical procedures, gotten kidney failure treatments, been admitted to the hospital several times, been diagnosed with diabetes and has been placed on dialysis.  He is also, on the wait list for a kidney transplant.

Jaime’s challenges began when he was scheduled to have a kidney transplant for the second time since January 2004.  During pre-surgical prep doctors discovered Jaime had a buildup of fluid around his heart or pericardial effusion, and because of the surgical risk, the kidney transplant was postponed.  Jaime has undergone several procedures to eliminate the accumulation of fluid around his heart.  As you may image, for a young man in his mid-thirties, he has been dishearten and depressed but continues to be optimistic and maintains a positive attitude.

Many of you have asked; what can you do to help?  Jaime has been out of work during this time, maintaining his financial obligations and rising medical bills has become a struggle, and he is in considerable need of FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE.  Therefore, if God lays it on your heart and you feel moved to support Jaime in this way.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart, for we could not continue this battle without your support.

For those who have stayed up with Jaime’s dilemma, I want to thank EVERYONE for your prayers and your heartfelt kind thoughts through this difficult time.  God’s grace is the thing that we have needed the most through this experience, and His grace has been poured out upon us in a way that we have never before experienced.  Jaime is improving but his challenges are not over; we are confident it will be when we move on to the next step and receive the kidney transplant.  Please continue to remember Jaime and our family in your prayers, as the Lord brings us to your mind.  Your prayers have made all the difference!

Thank you in advance for your financial and prayerful support.
