Jades Cancer Journey Fundraiser

Friends and Families:                                                                      In response to the devastating diagnosis recently given to our sweet Jade Simpson Kennedy, I am starting a Facebook fundraiser.Those of you who don't know the situation, Jade is the daughter of Wes and Ina Simpson, and the sister of Todd and Trey. She was married on July 22nd to Josh Kennedy and blended their families. Josh has two young daughters and Jade has a 13 year old  son, Houston, and two year old Millie Rose. One month and one day later Jade was diagnosed with what her doctor described as one of the most complex cases that he has ever seen.                                                                           
          Jade has one of the most aggressive, invasive breast cancers known. There is one tumor that is 6 inches but is surrounded by multiple other tumors and unfortunately have metastasized in the ducts, lymph nodes, and chest wall. We don't know yet if it's anywhere else in her body- dealing with one issue at a time!
               She will be having a double mastectomy and an auxiliary node resection next week, followed by chemo.Unfortunately, Jade has a severe auto immune disease which will hinder the chemo response. She is not  a candidate for radiation because on top of everything else, she has lupus. So you guys can see what Jade is facing as she prepares to fight for her life.
      When the were  married in July, Josh and Jade rented a temporary house, intending to try to build soon. Obviously, everything has now changed. This is not an appropriate house for Jade to recover in, because she will be coming home with 4 drains, and must have a bathtub to soak. Her present house does not have one and is not an appropriate dwelling for her to recover in.
             Yesterday, God intervened in the form of a rental house down the street from Wes and Ina! New everything and with a tub! Lots more room for the kids and perfect for Jade with her mom down the street. So... we are trying to raise funds for first and last months rent ($1700) and deposits and other incidentals, the massive amounts of co-pays, and whatever else they need.If you know Jade, you know that there is no sweeter soul. Help us help Jade!
