I have been singing since I was four. I started with my grandmother's prodding by entertaining residents at a local nursing home. From those early days, I moved on to singing for special events, weddings, funerals, private parties and festivals until now singing full time every weekend.
My first official job was as a member of the praise team at a local church singing gospel music. I found myself longing to venture into diverse music opportunities like Talent Shows, a special music showcase at Universal Studios in Hollywood, California and even American Idol and The Voice tryouts. My music journey allowed me to play with some of the most talented musicians in this area.
For several years now I have been pursuing my personal career as a singer/songwriter with more than 30 songs waiting to be heard by my faithful fans. My purpose for creating this online fund raising event is to produce my first original album. I've been working with a producer in Nashville and we are almost ready to start recording with some of the best musicians available. This means I will need the funds as soon as we can raise them. The money will be used for the expenses of the album. I won't be able to commit to recording until we have reached our goal.
My faithful fans have been waiting for this to happen for a long time and I want to make them happy. I am so grateful to my parents for their belief in me and never letting me give up on my dreams. I am so honored to be working with one of the most creative and energetic producers on the Nashville scene.
