Jacob Dean Weyant, son of Jennifer and AJ and little brother of Noah Weyant, was born at 28 weeks on October 5, 2014, at 12:03 pm via emergency c-section at Conomaugh Hospital. He weighs 2lb 11oz and is 14.25 inches long.
He was lifeflighted to Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh on October 7th, due to bleeding on the brain and so he can receive amazing neurological care.
His doctor believes he may be septic and is being treated with antibiotic which he is tolerating well. There was an echo on his heart so they believe he has a hole in his heart but it's too early to tell if it's normal or abnormal. If it's abnormal he may need to have surgery in 3-6 months. His breathing has been up and down and they are continuing to monitor him closely.

Jacob is truly a miracle and gift from God. He is already such a little fighter. Continued prayers and love and support to Jenn, AJ and Noah are truly appreciated.
